Summary Main Characteristics Notes - Related Units
Fitted to the Electronic Flash T32, this light condensing adapter extends the flash working range. The intensity of the T32 is raised to a maximum of Guide Number 42m (100 ASA) by fully extending the inner frame.
OM System lenses of 50mm and longer are applicable.
The inner frame can be extended continuously with four click stops by pulling the Flash Window (fresnel lens). The click stops correspond to the coverage angles of 50, 75, 100 and 135mm lenses; these click stop focal lenghth values can be seen in the Focal-length Indicator Window.
The corresponding Guide Numbers are (m, 100 ASA):
50mm: 36
75mm: 38
100mm: 40
135mm: 42
Exclusively for use with the Electronic Flash T32.
For zoom flash the bounce mechanism built into the T32 can be turned as far as 90° upward. But downward tilting of 15° is not possible and should not be forced.
TTL "OTF" Auto or Manual flash can be achieved, but not Normal Auto.
Do not wipe the unit with harsh chemicals.
Do not damage the Flash Window (fresnel lens).
To mount, turn the T32's diffuser window (bounce mechanism) fully upward (90°). Then slide the fully extended Zoom Adapter into the dovetail grooves until it stops with a click.
If a lens is used with a focal length shorter than the value shown in the Focal-length Indicator Window, picture edges will darken.
