Notes - Related Units |
Its large aperture allows use of fast shutter speeds even with poorly lit
subjects. The minimum focusing distance is 70cm, giving a 1/5 life size image magnification - close to the performance of a macro lens. Floating mechanism is used to correct close distance aberrations. Special low dispersion glass and extraordinary partial dispersion glass are used in the front groups ensuring minimal chromatic aberration and excellent resolution and contrast. |
Portraits. Night scenes, available light photography. Interiors, stage plays. |
For hand-held photography, a shutter speed of 1/125 sec. or faster is
recommended. Also, to prevent camera shake: When using a tripod, hold the camera steady with both hands and press the shutter release with the ball of finger, not with the cable release. Compatible focusing screens: 1-1~1-6,1-10,1-13,1-14. |
