Despite the bright F2.8 aperture, it is extremely compact.
Various aberrations are well compensated, it offers high resolution and excellent contrast.

For hand-held photography, a shutter speed of 1/125 sec. or faster is recommended.
Also, to prevent camera shake:
When using a tripod, hold the camera steady with both hands and press the shutter release with the ball of finger, not with the cable release.
